Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Tuesday on a negative trend, and followed a fluctuating course throughout the day to close at 9,999.55, up 0.30%. The Industrial Index lost 0.88% while the Banking Index diverged positively, up 1.44%. On the political side, negative news flows pressured the BIST yesterday as well. We think that developments on this front may continue to negatively affect sentiment towards the bourse. On the other hand, optimistic pricing may occur in the short term due to expectations of an interest rate cut from the CBRT tomorrow, and a rating increase from Moody's on Friday. In global markets, expectations that Trump will pursue les confrontational policies during this presidency continued to support risk appetite. Yesterday, the U.S. stock markets closed with increases of up to 1.2%. European stock markets also followed a positive course. This morning, the U.S. futures and German DAX futures are positive, while Asian stock markets observe mixed pricing. We expect markets to remain guided by data and official commentary. The VIOP30 Index completed the evening session down 0.03%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Wednesday slightly negatively, but attempt a rise if intraday selling pressure prompts purchases. SUPPORT: 9,950 - 9,850 RESISTANCE: 10,150 - 10,250.
Money Market:
The Lira was negative yesterday, weakening 0.16% against the USD to close at 35.6224. The currency also depreciated by 0.15% against a basket of $0.50 and €0.50. Meanwhile, the local fixed income markets were positive. The ten-year benchmark bond was traded within a range of 27.31%-27.60%, ending the day at a low of 27.31%, 36 bps below its previous closing.

Turkcell (TCELL.TI; OP) has announced that the merger process between its subsidiaries, through the acquisition of Dijital Eğitim Teknolojileri A.Ş. ("Dijital Eğitim") by Turkcell Dijital İş Servisleri A.Ş. ("Turkcell Dijital"), has been completed and registered.
