Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Tuesday on a fluctuating course, then continued its rise amid strengthening intraday reaction purchases to close at 10,121.77, up 1.24%. While the Industrial Index decreased by 0.08% the Banking Index diverged positively, up 1.73%. With the effect of the recovery in global markets following the sales observed at the start of the week, reaction purchases were observed at the BIST yesterday. European and U.S. stock markets closed the day with increases. Today markets will focus on the Fed meeting. There is a 99% probability that the Fed will keep the interest rate constant in the range of 4.25-4.50%. Following the interest rate decision, Chairman Powell's evaluations at 22:30 CET may affect expectations for future meetings, as well as global risk appetite. This morning, ahead of the meeting, the U.S. futures are mixed and German DAX futures are trending positively. Markets will be closed in China for the Chinese New Year holiday, but open Asian stock markets are priced positively. The VIOP30 Index completed the evening session up 0.23%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Wednesday positively and attempt to rise during the day. SUPPORT: 10,000 - 9,000 RESISTANCE: 10,250 - 10,350.
