Market Watch (Şeker Yatırım)

Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Tuesday on a negative trend, remaining negative thereafter to close at 9,451.58, down 1.29%. While the Industrial Index decreased by 1.62%, the Banking Index diverged positively, down 1.17%. The decline in stocks of high index weight such as SAHOL, BIMAS, THYAO, ASELS was effective in the fall of the BIST100. The lack of short-term positive expectations for the BIST, combined with decreased global risk appetite, continue to limit interest in the bourse. We therefore expect the volatile and weak course to continue in the short term. Yesterday, the U.S. and European stock markets, except the Dow Jones, closed with declines. German DAX futures, U.S. futures and most Asian stock markets are up this morning. The data agenda is calm today, and the markets will instead follow Trump's moves. The VIOP30 Index completed the evening session up 0.35%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Wednesday with reaction buying and seek to continue its rise if intraday profit sales are encountered. SUPPORT: 9,350 - 9,250 RESISTANCE: 9,550 - 9,650.
