Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Wednesday on a positive trend by leaving a price gap, ending the day at 10,188.85, up 2.94% amid rising purchases. High index weight stocks such as BIMAS, THYAO, EREGL, and KCHOL led the increase. The Industrial Index rose 2.77% and the Banking Index gained 1.06%. The CBRT's interest rate decision will be announced today. Both the market and our expectation is that the policy rate will be reduced by 250 bps to 42.5%. Inflation developments, the interest rate reduction path and statements regarding the monetary policy stance in the decision text will be closely monitored. While risk appetite on the global side remained strong yesterday, European stock markets, excluding the U.S. and the U.K., closed with increases. This morning, the U.S. futures are negative, while German DAX futures and Asian stock markets are bullish. The deposit rate is expected to be reduced by 25 bps to 2.5% at today's ECB meeting. We expect the meeting and President Lagarde's statements thereafter to be the focus of the markets. The VIOP30 Index completed the evening session up 0.65%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Thursday positively and seek to rise if intraday profit sales are encountered. SUPPORT: 10,000 - 9,900 RESISTANCE: 10,250 - 10,350
