Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Thursday on a positive trend and maintained its course throughout the day, closing at 10,727.58, up 1.39%. The Industrial Index rose by 1.25% and the Banking Index by 0.92%. The positive outlook that started after last week's CPI data printed below expectations prevails at the BIST, and both banking and industrial stocks continue to accompany the increase. The PPI data announced in the U.S. yesterday printed at 0.0% monthly and 3.2% annually, thus below the expectations of 0.3% monthly and 3.3% annually. However, concerns over global economic growth due to tariffs suppressed risk appetite. Yesterday, the U.S. and European stock markets completed the day with declines. This morning, a reaction increase is observed in the U.S. futures, German DAX futures, and Asian stock markets in general. Since the data agenda is calm today, we expect the markets to focus on tariff-related developments. The VIOP30 Index completed the evening session down 0.03%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Friday positively and maintain its course if subsequent profit-taking is encountered. SUPPORT: 10,600 - 10,500 RESISTANCE: 10,800 - 10,900.
