Market Watch (Şeker Yatırım)

Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Thursday on a positive trend, but was weak at the opening, going on to close the day at 9,490.90, up 1.92%. The Industrial Index and the Banking Index rose by 1.46%, and 4.23%, respectively. Global risk appetite strengthened yesterday after Trump's softening rhetoric regarding the agreement with China, and as statements from Fed officials supported the expectations of a rate cut in June. European and U.S. stock markets completed the day with increases. While risk appetite remains strong this morning, the U.S. futures, German DAX futures and Asian stock markets are on a buying trend. We expect markets abroad to closely follow any statements from Trump on tariffs and the Fed. Locally, the summary of the CBRT’s MPC meeting, weekly money and banking data and the Türkiye assessment of international credit rating agency Standard & Poor's will be followed. The VIOP30 Index completed the evening session up 0.26%. We expect the Benchmark Index to start Friday on a positive trend, and continue to attempt increases if intraday profit-taking is covered. SUPPORT: 9,400 - 9,300 RESISTANCE: 9,600 - 9,700.
