Market Watch (Şeker Yatırım)

Outlook:
The BIST100 Index started Monday on a positive trend, encountering sales from the outset and closing at 9,345.15 after a fluctuating course, down 0.12%. The Industrial Index decreased by 0.31% and the Banking Index lost 0.21%. Global markets sought balance yesterday after President Trump postponed the direct application of a 50% tariff on the EU from June 1 to July 9. The BIST, too, started the day with an increase fueled by global risk appetite, although the rise proved to be unsustainable. On the global front, while the U.S. and U.K. stock markets were closed yesterday, European bourses and the U.S. futures that were open closed with increases. This morning, the positive outlook continued in the U.S. futures, while German DAX futures were flat and most Asian stock markets were negative. In Turkey the VIOP30 Index completed the evening session up 0.11%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Tuesday flat and attempt to rise if reaction purchases strengthen later in the day. SUPPORT: 9,250 - 9,150 RESISTANCE: 9,400 - 9,500.
