Market Watch (Şeker Yatırım)

Outlook:
The BIST 100 Index started Wednesday on a positive trend, but had difficulty maintaining it, closing flat, down 0.32% at 9,418.52. The Banking Index increased by 0.16%, while the Industrial Index ended the day down 0.47%. Profit realizations were seen yesterday in stock markets that had started to rise after the supposed decline in geopolitical tension in the Middle East and amid easing oil prices. While the U.S. stock markets ended with a mixed trend, European bourses closed on the negative side. Fed Chair Powell refrained from giving signals about interest rate cuts on the second day of his presentation to Congress, stating that they did not expect to face stagflation and were monitoring conditions. While a flat trend was seen in the U.S. and German futures indexes this morning, a generally mixed trend prevailed in Asian stock markets. The VIOP-30 Index completed the evening session up 0.18%. Developments regarding the ceasefire between Israel and Iran and the course of oil prices remain the focus of markets, and today eyes are on the summary of the CBRT Monetary Policy Committee meeting in Turkey, as well as growth, durable goods orders and weekly unemployment benefit applications from the U.S. abroad. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Thursday with a limited positive trend and follow a fluctuating course thereafter. SUPPORT: 9,300 - 9,250 RESISTANCE: 9,600 - 9,700.
