Outlook:
The BIST 100 Index started Wednesday with a bullish trend, continued to rise despite intraday profit sales and closed at 10,189.02, up 1.08%. The Banking Index rose by 1.51%, while the Industrial Index closed the day up 0.97%. The positive outlook continues at Borsa Istanbul, which is pricing in an interest rate cut at the CBRT's MPC meeting on July 24. Meanwhile, June CPI data is to be announced at 10:00 today in Turkey. The market expectation is that CPI will increase by 1.5% monthly and 35.25% annually in June, and we expect a rise of 1.48% monthly and 35.21% annually. If the June CPI data falls below expectations, we may expect further purchases, especially in banking stocks. On the global front risk appetite remains mixed. European and U.S. stock markets closed the day with a mixed performance on expectations regarding ongoing trade negotiations between the U.S. and other countries. As of this morning, U.S. and German futures indexes are trending upwards, and Asian stock markets are generally positive. The VIOP-30 Index closed the evening session up 0.66%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Thursday with a bullish trend and continue to rise if potential profit sales are met. SUPPORT: 10,050 - 9,950 RESISTANCE: 10,250 - 10,350.
