Market Watch (Şeker Yatırım)

The BIST 100 Index started Friday with a bullish trend which it continued throughout the day to close at 10,275.75, up 0.46%. The Industrial Index & Banking Index rose by 0.59%, and 1.0%, respectively. On a weekly basis, the BIST 100 Index gained 9.26%, while the Industrial Index and Banking Index rose by 7.68% & 12.87%, respectively. Local inflation data printing below expectations strengthened the view that the CBRT would start interest rate cuts, thereby further supporting the Index. However, the new arrests in ongoing corruption cases over the weekend, and the reheating of domestic politics due to the investigation into the leader of the main opposition party, may spark some profit taking after the rapid rise. Meanwhile, on the global side, Trump's announcement that the tariff increases that were to start on July 9 are postponed to August 1, and that new tariffs will be imposed on the BRICS countries may suppress risk appetite to some extent. The VIOP-30 Index completed the evening session down 0.08%. Locally, we expect the Benchmark Index to start Monday negatively, and then follow a fluctuating trend. SUPPORT: 10,100 - 10,000 RESISTANCE: 10,350 - 10,450.
